Dear Colleague:

The ACLAM Foundation is “on-the-move”.... – approaching $1,000,000 in research dollars awarded! We recently gave a grant to the University of California, Davis to study rodent cage density. This was our 52nd funded research project. Expect more awards to be announced this July [2006].

Now we need your help. Please make this the year you join over half of the College membership in funding important research projects. But instead of just sending a check, consider making a pledge. Together we will be filling in missing data by increasing the body of knowledge in laboratory animal medicine and science. The entire amount, 100%, will be used to fund research grants, since ACLAM covers our modest costs.

As the Foundation Committee launches this Annual Appeal, your financial donations are crucial. Please help us support these research studies. Over 50 research teams competed this year. With your gift, we will be able to fund more excellent projects.
