Education and Training

ACLAM seeks to advance educational goals through the following activities:

• Providing annual forums that promote skills and knowledge among Diplomates
• Sponsoring books on topics relevant to the laboratory animal medicine specialty
• Partnering with AALAS and the AVMA for the presentation of papers on comparative medicine at annual meetings

To ensure a comprehensive environment for postdoctoral training, programs are reviewed and approved by the Training Oversight Committee (CPOC).
