This CD-ROM includes the text and images from all the Series II programs, for less than it costs to purchase 2 of the slide-tape sets.

Bioethics and the Use of Laboratory Animals - Ethics in Theory and Practice

This is the latest of the ACLAM "Blue-Book" series. It contains manuscripts from all plenary speakers at ACLAM's 1998 Forum by the same name. It has been published by the College and can be obtained from Dr. Mel Balk. The monograph may be purchased from the College for $30.00, which includes postage and handling. (ISBN 0-9678384-0-1)

Following an introductory Chapter written by Lanny Kraus, there are 18 Chapters written by prominent philosophers, ethicists, scientists, veterinarians and others that deal with the use of animals in research. Additionally there are two Chapters dealing with bioethics in general, one concerning "end-of-life" decisions and one, a speculative look to future issues in bioethics.
