Governance
ACLAM Membership is open to all veterinarians who are graduates of a college or school of veterinary medicine accredited or approved by the AVMA, or who possess an Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduate (ECFVG) certificate, or are qualified to practice veterinary medicine in some state, province, territory, or possession of the United States, Canada, or other country; have satisfactory moral character and impeccable professional behavior; and have been certified as Diplomates in accordance with Article II of the Bylaws.
Members
An individual ACLAM member in good standing shall enjoy all of the rights and privileges of the College including participation in meetings, voting, and holding office except as provided in the Constitution and Bylaws. Bylaws
Officers
The Vice President, the Secretary-Treasurer, and when necessary, the President and/or President-Elect shall be elected by mail ballot by the Diplomates. Bylaws
Board of Directors
The Board shall consist of six Diplomates elected by mail ballot plus the President, the President-Elect, the Vice President, the Immediate Past-President, and the Secretary-Treasurer. Bylaws
